The proposal for seeking solar energy by installation of a satellite at space instead of the orbit of the earth might take off if permission is granted to the California-based PG&E Company to contract with Solaren Company. The advantage with such a measure would be continuous 24-hour supply of solar power without hindrances from climatic conditions. The working principle is supposed to be based on the satellite having mirrors for directing sunbeams onto its photoelectric cells. The electrical energy thus obtained could then be transformed to a microwave rays which would again change back to the electrical form on reaching the earth.

A business agreement having one, two, or more shareholders attributed with a state sanction to operate it is said to be an LLC i.e. Limited Liability Company. An LLC enables the shareholders to acquire tax benefits. The state gives approval to the formation of an LLC if it is satisfied after thorough scrutiny of documents with regard to agreement terms amongst members. The name attributed to a newly-formed Limited Liability Company must be original and not taken from any previous names. It is mandatory for the company to end its name mentioning the LLC status. Opting for LLC status obviously makes the “liability limited” for the company and the members of the LLC are not tied down with too many restrictions.

The film “Reality Bites” directed by debutant director Ben Stiller, released in the year of 1994, showcases the feelings of Generation X vividly. The movie relies on a good dose of vitriolic humour capped with romantic interludes, and not to forget ample tracks of some great indie-pop music. The journey of the four graduate friends and their various trivia in their lives brings life to the movie thus appealing to one and all. The offbeat movie had become a kind of trendsetter during the 1990s with the four protagonists having that typical sceptical attitude about things.

A psephologist is a person who studies, analyses, and predicts the election trends with the help of surveys and statistical data. The word “Psephology” is taken from the Greek word “Psephos” referring to the pebble stone which was used by the people of Greece in place of a ballot. The job of a psephologist involves doing research on the trends of the elections and the likely changes to occur during an election process. They base their study on the behavioural pattern of election conducted previously, check out facts and details of electoral votes, and learn the probabilities of which party may win through interaction with the general public before finalising an opinion poll. The predictions of a psephologist are important for the electorate as well as the political parties because it provides them first-hand knowledge about the political issues and happenings.

Stem cell therapy is based on the principle that stem cells are able to rebuild cells thus helping in the repair of damaged tissues. Stem cells exist in almost all organisms having multiple-cell structure. The three types of stem cells include embryonic, foetal, and adult stem cells. The transplant of stem cells for treatment of diseases such as leukaemia is common. Research is being done in stem cell therapy to find solutions to a number of diseases, disorders, and handicaps such as limb amputation, diabetes, burns, cardiac problems, spine and neurological problems etc. However step cell therapy has its own share of controversial debates over the method of such type of treatment

The feeling of fear and anxiety to speak confidently in front of an audience is broadly defined as stage fright. We often experience that nervous and sweaty feeling with a mind and brain freeze, a tremor in the hands and voice, and fumble over our speech. Taking deep breaths to calm one down just before the speech helps. Keep the mind focused on the topic to be discussed. Do not look at any one particular individual, but span your view across the audience. Inviting public participation by question & answer format is a good way to relax. Thorough preparation of the topic is essential to keep you going on stage. Stage fright is not confined only to speeches. One may experience the same while performing something on stage.

Music is melody to the ear and is created on the basis of musical notes or notations Octave refers to the period or interval in the pitch of musical notes. Some are with high frequency and the others are half the frequency. Octave corresponds to the 8th full pitch above any musical note or below it. When the octave is above the specified musical note, it means it is doubled in vibrations and designated as 8va whereas for the octave lesser than the specified musical note it is reduced to half and designated as 8vb. The reason for having an octave in music is because human ear would be unable to perceive the difference between notes. P8 means the octave is a perfect one. The term octave has other connotations too.
