It is a fun-filled activity that provides satisfaction to the creator on seeing the end result. Origami can be practised at home by both adults and children alike. It helps children to improve concentration span, eye-hand co-ordination, fine motor development, logical reasoning, and creativity. For adults it is a good de-stressing and patience-developing activity. To learn origami one should start with the universally-accepted basic folding symbols.
