Stem cell therapy is based on the principle that stem cells are able to rebuild cells thus helping in the repair of damaged tissues. Stem cells exist in almost all organisms having multiple-cell structure. The three types of stem cells include embryonic, foetal, and adult stem cells. The transplant of stem cells for treatment of diseases such as leukaemia is common. Research is being done in stem cell therapy to find solutions to a number of diseases, disorders, and handicaps such as limb amputation, diabetes, burns, cardiac problems, spine and neurological problems etc. However step cell therapy has its own share of controversial debates over the method of such type of treatment
